LNR – ADE: Documentary

There is now a documentary about LNR — Local Night RADION — and it tells the story better than a press release ever could.

LNR started after the 2021 lockdowns, when the clubs reopened and the question was what to put on the floor. The answer was local: a night built entirely on Dutch techno talent, with low ticket prices and full trust in artists who had never headlined anywhere. It worked, and it kept working.

In the film, Head of Program Ici and marketing team Isabelle and Jan talk about how the concept took shape, what went wrong along the way, and why betting on local names is a long game rather than a gesture.
