This Thursday, we gather at RADION Expo in support of Pete. Pete’s fundraiser is a community effort supported by RADION, to help a long-time RADION member. After facing deportation while being in spinal surgery, he organised a fundraiser to get back on his feet financially.

Who's Pete?
Some of you might know Pete already as one of the founders of The Platform Amsterdam. He created many amazing events that contributed to the nightlife culture of Amsterdam, as well as its community. He’s helped many upcoming artists kickstart their careers through this. After The Platform he worked on many other amazing creative projects, including some of your favorite artworks and posters for events or artists.

Pete’s story:

Disaster has struck our beloved Pete in the last 8 months. He suffered a major spine injury, which after many hospital visits turned out to be 2 hernia’s. During this immense amount of pain he also received news from the IND that his residence permit got revoked, and that the new application wasn’t approved. This left him without health insurance and at immediate risk of deportation.
Uninsured medical costs are very expensive which led to a lot of debt.
