House of Chi presents: Talking Trees by Bert Barten

MUSIC SHOW
Sat 3 Oct 20:00

In 2018 we first saw Bert Barten’s immersive “Talking Trees” show in the impressive surroundings of Radio Kootwijk.

When spinning our minds to find appropriate performances for get togethers in these times we asked Bert if he would be up to create a small performance of his show in our beloved Bovenkamer.

This show is about “Chi” where the trees will conjure a mystical musical ecology as synthesizers and the biology of trees become one, and photosynthesis, sap flow speed, moisture, barks and leaves dictate the rhythms and sounds to which we groove.

During the night we will serve your senses with a 5-course drink menu to match the mood of the moment. Each course serves a selected drink as cocktail or mocktail (non-alcoholic). You are free to order a beer or wine instead. These drinks are included in the ticket, so you can leave your wallet at home.

This October 3rd we become one with the forest. Be there.

Please reserve your seat by buying a ticket. Due to the current regulations seats are limited for this event. |

We like these intimate regulations. We have 45 cozy seats available, so please get your ticket in time.

Quarantine Radio has been filling the airwaves with groovy vibes and good music since the start of the crisis, and now it's time to dance our way out of it. In June, this musical initiative from the House of Chi will partner up with our beloved RADION Amsterdam for: QUARANTINE RADIO(N).

News: Nightwatch Drink is back on the menu of RADION again and this time accompanied by our other drinks Flower of Life and a monthly special from the Amsterdamse Frisdrank Fabriek. Feel free to come by early and have a House of Chi drink + Pizza deal for 10 euros!
